Waking up the Side Body and Core

We know a strong core gives us greater stability overall, but did you know the muscles that run along the sides of your body also help provide stability? In this class we feel how the deep core muscles and the outer thigh and hip muscles work together to give us greater ease in standing and balance poses.

We explore Triangle Pose in a new way to help feel the inner thighs and core more in the pose. We then take that into the Half Moon balance pose. This class also has some wonderful hip stretches interspersed throughout.

Nothing too sweaty in this practice, but you'll feel strong and spacious through the hips afterwards!
