Therapeutic Flow - Moving from the Hips vs. Moving from the Spine

Whenever we bend forward from our hips with our spine in a neutral position we're strengthening our back and core muscles. In this class you'll learn how to differentiate between moving from the hips versus moving from the spine. Don't get me wrong - it's great to move your spine! It's just beneficial to know where you're moving from and have control in that movement. If you're prone to low back pain, this class could very well help!

This class lengthens your hamstrings, strengthens your back muscles, awakens your core, and relieves low back tension.

Props used: a long belt or scarf, a pillow or bolster, a couple yoga blocks or stool.
