Mindful Movement for Stress Relief

Feeling stressed? This practice is for you!

When we're stressed, our breath is shallow and we tend to be tight and closed-in all through the torso - hips, ribs, shoulders, and neck. This practice helps to release and relax these areas of your body with some gentle stretches.

You'll notice your breath moves with greater ease and fullness at the end of this class and your body feels more relaxed and open.

Props recommended:

  • yoga belt or long scarf
  • padding for under the knees
  • bolster or pillow (as needed for under head or legs while lying down)
