Mindful Flow - Cross-Body Mindful Movements

Cross-body patterns happen naturally as we walk - our opposite arm swings forward as we step forward with our other leg. In this class we'll explore the connection between our upper half with our opposite lower half. These connections engage the core muscles that run through our trunk from the hips to the opposite shoulders, especially pronounced when we practice twists.

The practice of these cross-body movements in a slow and mindful way also balances our nervous system, getting both side of the brain to work together.
