Hip and Hamstring Strength & Stretch

This class wakes up the lower body with some squats, lunge variations, a couple balance poses, and more to strengthen the hips, glutes, and thighs, as well as the supporting muscles around the knee.

A great class to strengthen muscles we tend to over-stretch, such as the hamstrings and muscles around the hip.

Don't worry, though, we end with a couple lovely stretches for these areas after awakening them.

Recommended Props:

  • a chair
  • a couple yoga blocks are hard-cover books
  • padding for under the knees
