Chair Yoga for Nervous System Support

This gentle, slow moving chair yoga practice is like a moving meditation that will calm your nervous system and help you relax and concentrate better.

We practice moving the joints mindfully with contralateral movements coordinated through opposite upper and lower limbs, and move slowly to the rhythm of the breath.

The first half of the class is practiced seated with some standing movements in the second half before we end seated again.

The class ends with a relaxing self-massage for the face, ears, and jaw.
