
This is a 5 week self-paced online course.
Suitable for people new to yoga, those returning to the practice after an injury or long absence, people with arthritis and joint restrictions, or people looking for a gentle way to bring movement into their everyday life.
You'll get access to all five prerecorded classes that you can practice at your own pace.
At the end of this course you'll feel vibrant, strong, connected, and confident in your abilities. You may be ready to attend my weekly online Chair Yoga class that takes place every Tuesday from 10:00-11:00am ET.
During this course you'll gradually and safely progress with each week building on the next. There will be repetition and integration of principles learned the week prior.
Each class begins with seated movements before moving to standing movements (where you can use the chair for support), and some standing forward movements with the hands placed either on the back of the chair or the seat of the chair. This class doesn't involve any sitting or lying on the floor.
You'll have lifetime access to the online class recordings. This means you can progress at your own pace and return to the classes as often as you wish!
Week 1 - Introduction to the Breath, Six Movements of the Spine, Standing Foundations
Week 2 - Focus on Upper Body (Neck, Shoulders, Back)
Week 3 - Focus on Lower Body and Introduction to Core Support
Week 4 - Chair Yoga Sun Salutations and Flows
Week 5 - Chair Yoga for Gentle Strength-Building
