This class is a relaxing start to your week that gently stretches and awakens your whole body. Includes slow flowing movements and longer holds.
We begin each class laying on the back before moving to hands and knees (or modified using the chair), then standing poses before transitioning to the belly, and ends with seated poses before final relaxation.
Suitable for anyone who can get up and down from the floor. Modifications are shown using a chair for those who choose not to place weight on the knees, or who want a gentler practice on their joints.
Props you may find helpful: a yoga block or large book, a yoga belt or long scarf, a cushion/pillow/blanket/bolster. Use what you have at home!
This class takes place live over Zoom. You'll receive the Zoom link via email one hour before class begins. It's your choice whether to turn on your camera or keep it off during class.
A recording of the class will be emailed to you if you can't make it live over Zoom. The recording is available for 3 days before it is automatically deleted. If you're unable to practice it before then you can download it to your computer.
